This blend features two coffees: One from Cachoeira De Grama in Brazil and a Colombian from Huila.
Gabriel is the go-to Brazilian producer for us, as he's exceptionally talented at what he does, with his coffees regularly doing well at the Cup of Excellence competition. This one is a straightforward Brazil Peaberry, but it does exactly what we want from it for this espresso profile.
(He was also one of the first people we met when we started in coffee about 7 years ago - and was very supportive of our coffee aspirations. A total sweetheart, so we've gotta support the guy!)
The Colombian is from a Coop called Coocentral located in central Huila. It’s a group of over 400 producers, and so the profile of this on it’s own is classic Huila – brown sugar, red apple, chocolate, roasted nuts. It brings a bit more depth to the espresso.
