"What I find most appealing about Gunroku is its beautiful balance of umami and astringency. It begins with a soft and smooth impression, gradually opening into a rich umami, followed by a pleasant astringency that brings structure to the overall profile. This progression creates a dynamic and engaging tasting experience, with subtle differences that can be appreciated over time. "

— Yukie Okumura, Export Manager

    Green Tea Tsuchiyama

Green Tea Tsuchiyama grows their tea where the Suzuka Mountains meet fertile, carefully tended soil — and they treat every harvest the way a winemaker treats a vintage. Because tea changes year to year with the weather and the land, their team of Japanese Tea Instructors, including nationally ranked top finishers, hand-select only the best of each season to make it to your cup. With organic-focused farming, reduced pesticides, and a trophy shelf that includes the Minister of Agriculture Award, this is a producer that takes the craft seriously — and it shows.
