“This elegant Ugandan coffee features bright apricot, soft caramel, and jasmine notes. Its light roast emphasizes natural acidity and aromatic complexity, delivering a clean, silky, and refreshing finish.”

— Mark Hayward, Founder

Description

A Western Ugandan washed coffee from a community of smallholder farmers. Sourced as a washing station lot, where producers bring daily pickings to be processed together. The cup is clean and structured, with intriguing umami notes that nod toward Kenyan profiles. Founder Mark Hayward roasted this on Velvet Sunrise's new Nucleus Link with a short development time to keep it bright and lifted. Works on filter or espresso.

This coffee was featured in the Issue #5 Fruity & Complex Pack! Roasted on May 4, 2026.
