"In the cup, it highlights fruity notes like pear, nectarine, and stone fruit without pushing too much acidity. The fermentation enhances sweetness and rounds out the profile, giving you that ripe pear quality rather than something sharp."

- Daniel Moranville, Founder

KOHI Coffee Roasters

KOHI — Daniel Moranville’s small-but-mighty roastery — started with a simple question: could he roast coffee he genuinely loved to drink? What began as shed-side experiments (and two chimney fires) grew into roasting for a wholesale partner, then a co-op, and finally into his own roastery. The name comes from a trip Daniel took to Japan with his son, where the care and detail of the culture reshaped how he wanted to approach coffee. A quick check on Google Translate turned “coffee” into “KOHI” — short, memorable, and a daily reminder of the place that inspired it all.
