Since 2015, our pals over at Kasama strive to create unique chocolate experiences while supporting local communities and promoting sustainable agriculture.
Meet Kasama's Dark Chocolate - Kape Espresso 65%. A marriage of two very different beans, both from the same origin. This dark chocolate bar combines our Philippine cacao beans from Davao with freshly roasted coffee beans sourced by our friends Iona & Paolo of Kapé Coffee. This semi-washed coffee is grown in the highlands of Bansalan, by award-winning coffee grower, Ate Marivic, part of a farmer owned co-operative in Davao del Sur. This synthesis of cacao & coffee beans yields notes of dates, roasted chestnuts, and muscovado sugar.
