Rosso Coffee Roasters

Rosso started in 2007 when David Crosby opened a tiny café in Calgary's Ramsay neighbourhood, waking up at 4 a.m. every day to bake, brew, and do everything else himself. In 2010, his half-brother, Cole Torode, was looking for a job between high school and university. By 2012, Cole was a partner, and together they taught themselves to roast, picked up a Probat L12, and started building something bigger. Five cafés, a B Corp certification, multiple Canadian Barista Championships, and roasting for the World Barista Champions in 2023 and 2024. Rosso is always pushing the boundaries.
