January Shipping Update ๐
Happy new year, everyone! We just wanted to keep you in the loop on some updates.
The first one is a not-so-great update: as we all know, Omicron is sweeping the nation, and unfortunately, The Roasters Pack is no exception. Because of this, we're currently experiencing staff shortages and shipping delays, both with receiving coffee and shipping it out.
FedEx (aka the service we use most to receive coffee) has experienced staffing shortages with Omicron, leading to shipping delays of up to a week. Unfortunately, our Week 2 subscribers (anyone who bought coffee to ship on January 10th) will feel this the most. Rest assured, we are working hard to make sure you receive your coffee soon with no more than a 1-3 day delay.
Aside from shipping delays, we've also had to navigate Covid exposures among our small staff and balance taking appropriate safety measures while ensuring that your coffee gets shipped on time. We have our strict physical distancing, masking and sanitation guidelines in our facility and are doing all we can to keep the team safe.
All in all, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this is causing. Hopefully, the wait will be worth it when the coffee shows up; we've got some great-tasting coffees in this issue!
We're much hoping this will be our last Covid-related shipping delay ever, and, to end on a positive note: Our customer base has been genuinely understanding and patient with us despite the occasional delay, which we appreciate wholeheartedly. Thanks to our subscribers for being some of the most awesome and understanding coffee-lovers out there.
